Shane Dunlop will be attempting to sit through 70 Films In 7 Days to help raise funds and awareness for people and their families affected by brain acquired injuries.

Earlier in the year, Shane's cousin was hit by a passing motorcyclist and has been fighting her injuries since (more about this here:
http://70filmsin7daysproject.blogspot.com/2009/09/for-julia.html) This
is actually very near to the current world record (which is 53 films in
5 days according to Guiness) and will be a massive feat of cinematic
endurance. In the lead up to the event, Shane has been raising funds and
gathering pledges and sponsorship in a matter of different ways, mainly
from friends, family and associates of his cousin Julia, but it became
apparent that perhaps there was an opportunity to spread the word and
reach the greater community. The support and feedback received from
those who have become involved thus far has been overwhelming and the
feeling of being a part of something unique and original whilst also
raising money for a great cause has been noted. Over the next month,
those involved in the project are hoping that by accessing some local
community media outlets, businesses and film related organisations, that
the 70-in-7 Project could become an event of some note.

During the 7 days, Shane will be running a live blog, reviewing each
film, commenting on how the project is running and operating a live
web-cam to help document the trials and tribulations of the event. With
some luck and assistance, the activities going on during the week will
attract a fair amount of attention.

Additionally, it is hoped that the final film (the 70th), will be held
at a local independent cinema where guests will be able to attend a
screening of a new release film which the proceeds of their ticket will
also go towards the charity.

A little about the charity: The chosen charity is Headway Victoria, an
organisation which promotes and supports those of us with brain acquired
injuries and especially the families who are left behind.

A little more about Shane: You can read all about the project here @
http://70filmsin7daysproject.blogspot.com/ and there is additional
information about Shane listed on the site.

Would be more than happy to discuss any ideas you may have about how you could be involved, whether it be via sponsorship, donations, prizes,
marketing or advertising. So email your ideas to fooldisclosure989@gmail.com

Cheers!

Halo is a science fiction

Halo is a science fiction video game franchise created by Bungie and owned and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The main trilogy of games center on the experiences of the Master Chief, a cybernetically-enhanced human super-soldier, and his artificial intelligence (AI) companion, Cortana. The Master Chief aids future humanity in battling the Covenant, a theocratic alliance of alien races that worship an ancient civillisation known as the Forerunners, and a parasitic organisms known as the Flood. In this science fiction setting, the term "Halo" refers to Halo megastructures: large, ccna exam questions habitable ringed structures, similar to Larry Niven's Ringworld. The trilogy of video games have been praised as being among the best first-person 83-640 shooters on a video game console, and are considered the Microsoft Xbox's "killer app".[3] This has led to the term "Halo killer" being used to describe console games that aspire, or are considered, to be better than Halo.[4] Fueled by the success of Halo: Combat Evolved, and immense 70-680 marketing campaigns from publisher Microsoft, both sequels went on to break various sales records. Halo 3 sold more than US$170 million worth of copies in the first twenty-four hours of release, breaking the record set by Halo 2 three years prior. The games have cissp exam questions sold over 27 million copies worldwide.
